The Chamber Ambassadors is a prestigious group of Bellevue area citizens selected to represent their community at various functions.  This small group of trained individuals will be available to Chamber members and the city to serve as “hosts” for events.  They will serve as liaisons for the Chamber of Commerce and will be “roving” ambassadors for our city.  They will be easily recognized by their special attire and can serve in a role that will best accommodate your company or store for your specific function.  This is a free service to our members and to our city government.  

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Must be an employee of a current Chamber member or have an individual “personal” membership 

- Must be in a position that allows “flex” time to attend some functions 

- Must have social skills that allow them to “meet and greet” and be an advocate for their community 

BENEFITS OF BEING AN AMBASSADOR: 

- Provides great opportunities to “network” and make contacts 

- Gives one an opportunity to have a sense of accomplishment by promoting their hometown and community 

-Allows them to have a “voice” and express their opinions and ideas to a variety of community leaders 

- An Ambassador will have an opportunity to be invited and to be present at important functions, some of which will be invitation only 

- To proudly wear an Ambassador “uniform” 

- And to be paid absolutely nothing!, but yet receive many accolades for their work 

Application process is for the interested person to fill out an application and submit it to The Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce.  The applications will soon be ready and will be available on-line.

An authorized person in their business/organization (if not themselves) must approve and sign the Ambassador Contract.  The Ambassador Committee will review all applications. The Chamber’s Executive Director will notify the candidate as to the status of their application.
