The Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce, is an organization for business run by business, has a membership which represents a diverse cross-section in the Bellevue area.
From large industry to self-employed individuals, members of the Chamber can meet on equal ground to work for success of their business or organization and for the economic, civic, cultural, and social betterment of the area. The Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce is non-sectarian, non-political, and entirely free from the stigma of special interests.
To better represent the diversity of the membership, the Board of Directors of the chamber is carefully constructed. Board membership represents large and small business, industry, educational institutions, financial institutions, retail establishments, health care providers, manufacturing and service providers.
In fact, almost every product or service a member needs can be obtained from a Chamber member ... people who join the Chamber do so for the same others did ... they want your business and in turn would be happy to do business with you.
In addition, members can take advantage of a variety of services available through the Chamber staff. A health insurance program provides competitive rates for this escalating business expense.
Members can always be assured that the Chamber staff will promote Chamber members when an inquiry is received, and any literature or promotional pieces left in the Chamber office will be made available to visitors and those requesting information via the phone or mail route.
Each Chamber member receives a copy of the monthly newsletter, and any other mailing which the staff or board feels are pertinent to the entire membership. Membership on any committee or special event is open to all Chamber members, and the board and staff is always open to new ideas, new events, and new assistance.
In short, membership in the Bellevue Area Chamber of Commerce is an investment in the region, in other members, and, most importantly, in your own business or service. Some have said that Chamber membership doesn't cost ... it pays.
We suggest that the benefit of membership is best reflected in the motto:
"Doing Collectively What Can't Be Done alone."
