February 19, 2016 Friday Update

Dear Chamber Members:

The Chamber would like to welcome Kasia Hein-Peters and Pius Peters who are the new owners of the Bellevue Hotel & Suites to Bellevue!

The Annual Rotary “Pizza Blast” was held last night at the Bellevue High School along with the Winter Band Concert. The turn-out for this event was great and the pizza from the 7 participants was wonderful!

Due to a scheduling conflict the next Chamber Monthly Luncheon will be held on Thursday, March 10th and not on the 3rd as originally scheduled. Mayor Kevin Strecker will be our speaker and update us on the “State of the City”. The luncheon will be held at The Willows, 101 Auxiliary Drive and will begin at 12 noon. The cost is $10 per person. To make your reservations please email or call the Chamber at 419.483.2182. Reservation deadline is Friday, March 4th. Please note if you have already turned in your reservations for the 3rd they will automatically be reserved for the 10th.

The Committee To Grow Bellevue is holding their 3rd Annual Power of the Purse on Thursday, March 3rd from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Bellevue V.F.W. Tickets are $15 in advance or $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the Golden Acorn or Bellevue ACE Hardware. All proceeds to benefit the Committee to Grow Bellevue’s “Beautify Bellevue” projects. For more information call 419.217.6724. This will be a fun night of glitz, glamour and bling!

The next quarterly Bellevue HR Association meeting will be held on Thursday, March 31st at 8:00 a.m. at Flat Rock Home. A flyer will be sent out as soon as details are finalized. If you are a local Human Resources Professional or have HR responsibilities within your organization please consider participating in this association that is open to Chamber members and non-members. There are great networking opportunities!

The Tri-County Safety Councils and SCHRMA are planning Safety Day for 2016 – Friday, April 22, 2016.
